Is it possible on the 4500-X to set the MTU to jumbo frames on a single VLAN for a trunk port where the other vlans are set to the default MTU? I am trying to determine if I can trunk my iSCSI traffic with my data traffic since the 10ge port has more than enough bandwidth to handle the shared load.
Thanks.

I believe you can configure "Jumbo Frames" per interface.
See this chapter:

For the 4500-X series, the MTU can only be configured globally and not per interface or per vlan.
Maximum Transmission Units
The Catalyst 4500 series switch allows you to configure a maximum of 32 different maximum transmission unit (MTU) sizes system wide. This means that the maximum number of different MTU sizes that you can configure with the system mtu, mtu, ip mtu, and ipv6 mtu command on all Layer 2 and Layer 3 interfaces combined is 32.

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I apologize as I do not have a ton of experience. Could you please clarify something? You said the MTU can only be configured globally and not per interface or per vlan but the quote under that states that you are allowed to configure a maximum of 32 different MTU sizes system wide. If you can have 32 different MTU sizes where do they get assigned?
Thank you for the help.
