4500X IOS and Rommon upgrade

I have a pair of 4500X switches IOS version cat4500e-universalk9.SPA.03.05.00.E.152-1.E.bin

ROM: 15.0(1r)SG6

I need to upgrade the ROMMON to a higher version in order to support VSS.

My question is, what version of ROMMON is recommended? And how do I upgrade the ROMMON? I can't find the documentation on how to do this on a 4500X

Also what version of IOS should I upgrade to?

I use Rommon 15.0(1r)SG11 and IOS 03.06.00.E.152-2.E.bin with VSS with no issues.

As how to upgrade Rommon, follow this link.  It should be the same for both 4500 and 4500x.

@Reza Sharifi My 4500X switches are running ROMMON 15.0(1r)SG12 and I'm planning to upgrade the IOS to version 3.6.6E.

Do I need ROMMON upgrade, or it's fine to run the VSS with IOS 3.6.6E whilst having the SG12?

Didn't find much information in the release notes of this particular IOS version :(
