4500X Power Cord

                   Hi,

i am installing a cisco 4500X switch and the power cord required is a c15 - c14 because of the pdu we are using.

The one that has shipped from cisco is a different connector and cannot be used. i wanted to find out if

CAB-C15-CBN - Cabinet Jumper Power Cord, 250 VAC 13A, C14-C15 Connector, can be used for the 4500X.

Hi,

Usually, the PDUs take C13-C14.  Are you sure you need C15-C14?

What type of PSU do you have?

yes it is a c15 - c14, The C15 female connector has the same pin array as a C13. However the C15 has a notch at the base. The one that shipped from cisco is CAB-US515-C15-US.

i wanted to make sure the specifications for CAB-C15-CBN - Cabinet Jumper Power Cord, 250 VAC 13A, C14-C15 Connector is good for 4500x.

Is there an answer to this question? I have the same situation. Does CAB-C15-CBN work with the 4500-X? The input connector will fit but I don't see anything but the CAB-US515-C15-US= on the supported list: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500x/installation/notes/OL_26535.html#wp42400
