I have two 4500X (VSS) and I want to upgrade both the license from ipbase to entservices and the IOS (currently 03.06.05.E)
if I read the config guide https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/XE3-6-0E/15-22E/configuration/guide/xe-360-config/vss.html it looks like I just have to do this for upgrading the license :
Switch#license right-to-use activate entservices acceptEULA
Switch#remote login module 11
(This is to login to the standby, the exact number can be found with show switch virtual slot-map.)
Switch-sdby#license right-to-use activate entservices acceptEULA
Switch-sdby#exit
Someone can confirm ? I have nothing to do with the .lic file I have ? Don't need a reboot ?
Better to upgrade first the IOS or the license ?
