Whats with the sfp gig ports on a SUP V for the 4506s? There are restrictions on their use. I tried using them as uplinks to a fiber riser to a 6513 yesterday and it didnt work.
What is idfferent about the SUP sfp ports from the ones found on a dedicated I/O card??
Thanks

On the SupV-10GE, you can use either the TenGig ports or the SFP Gig ports. SFP and 10-Gigabit Ethernet uplink options cannot be used simultaneously. By default, the TenGig ports are enabled, so to use the SFP gig ports, simply use the following command:
hw-module uplink select gigabitethernet
