4507 with SUP 8

Hi,

The port on sup 8 in cisco 4507 switch can be used to connect access switch? The port will be configured as a trunk port.

hi as per the doc yes you should be able to

Up to eight nonblocking 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks (Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus [SFP+])

As far as I know, that should work fine.

Personally, I haven't yet used a sup8 port as a trunk.  If have used them as L3 ports with and without Etherchannel.
