Whats a good size for a 4507R for a logging buffer size without taking too many resources but still giving adequate logging size to see things if something happens? The default of 4096 is way too small.

I set my devices to 16000. That usually captures everything I need to see. If you have ACL logging you might want to set it higher since most of the log will be the hits.
Hope that helps.

You can increase to a larger size without affecting performance however, it's best practice to send logging information to a syslog server.
If the 4507R reboots or crashes, a log to the console may have been lost as it clears in the reboot.

Just wondering how large you can make it without it being a problem . We would like it to be fairly large but don't want it to affect the 4507R at all.
