All,
Can someone please state the basic steps to perform the above? I already have the .lic file but couldn't find a guide online and I've been searching for an hour. The links are appearing on google but they only lead to the product page. Here's the closest that I had so far but needs membership for download.

I'm upgrading two stand-alone switches each with dual SUPs.
Thanks in advance.

The procedure looks correct to me. Don't forget to save the config before reloading the chassis.

Hi,
Have you tried using this command?
license install bootflash:<name of the file>
This is if the .llc file is already on flash.

Thanks for responding. The activity is scheduled on Sunday so I haven't tried anything yet. I'm still creating the MOP. Can you please confirm if this procedure is correct?
1.) Copy .lic to both master and slave bootflash
2.) Execute license install bootflash:<filename> on active SUP
3.) Configure license boot level entservices on active SUP
4.) Reload both SUPs via redundancy reload shelf
