Hi All,

I have cisco 4900M series core switch as we have installed X2-10base-SR module for MM fiber.For long rang  we have brought X2-10base-LR module for single mode fiber.

After installing the module in core switch its showing in switch inventory details, but as I have checked in X2-SR module, its show's light in transmit unit but it does not showin XR-LR module. 

Kindly suggest what I need to do or is compatible with 4900M?

Are you trying to connect an SR module to an LR module?  If this is so, then this won't work.  The modules should be of the same wavelength.  It's either SR-SR (short distance) or LR-LR (long distance).
