5548UP inteface state (L3 not ready)

Hi all,

Is anyone familiar with this interface state?  I have a layer 3 daughter card installed  in the switch and whenever I make any port layer 3 the interface goes down with a state (L3 not ready).  At this point there is no configuration on the interface and the state doesn't change once a layer 3 config is applied.  For reference the configuration is

int e1/2

no switchport

speed 1000

vrf member internet

ip address x.x.x.x/25

no shut

This configuration was working yesterday but stopped at some point and we don't know why.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Do you have L3 license (LAN_BASE_LIC) installed?

Hi Reza,  I have the base license installed and a temp LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG lic which still has 112 days to go before expiry. This link was up for a week but now it's down with this error.
