6504 VSS

I have a question im going to convert 2 standalone 6504`s to vss next weekend i did a tac ticket to verify the config and modules

I have applied the template that has been verifyed by them my question is would i see the vsl link active b4 the reboot .

right now it is up and up on both switches but it is not operating as a vsl link at this poing im not sure if it will not be seen until i  switch accept mode virtual i cant do this till a maintence window at 3:00 am just trying to make sure ever thing is good as best i can b4 that date ?????

Check the both kits have same hardware like sup-t, Modules, same IOS.

 

high level your config look ok. yes all the connection need to be UP before you reload both the switches.
