We recently had a hard shutdown of our 6509 core due to a power outage.
When it came back up, the supervisor came up fine and one of the line cards did, however, 3 line cards failed to come up. There seemed to be a power issue with a red status. They tried to power cycle several times and finally they failed to come up with a status at all.
I reloaded the switch, re-seated the modules, and tried moving the module into an open slot - all to no avail.
