I have a pair of 6509 switches, both running 12.2(33).
Switch 1:
6509-I#dir /all
%Error opening disk0:/ (No such device)
Switch 2:
6509-II#dir /all
Directory of sup-bootdisk:/
1 -rw- 54337444 Mar 2 2009 16:54:26 -05:00 s72033-ipbase-mz.122-33.SX
I.bin
2 -rw- 33554432 Mar 2 2009 16:53:04 -05:00 sea_log.dat
3 -rw- 33554432 Mar 2 2009 16:59:36 -05:00 sea_console.dat
1024589824 bytes total (903135232 bytes free)
Can someone tell me how to view all the directories in switch 1?

Hi,
You can issue the show file systems command to see what are the available options. Sometimes if you only use the dir /all it might give the that error because it will try to pull info from the compact flash (disk0:) and if the disk0 is not inserted that error will show up.

Thanks, I did that and "dir all-filesystems" worked.
Interesting that the /all works on one but not the other. In both cases there is nothing in disk0:
