6509E switch and NSk5 5010

I am looking  at setting up 6509-E switch utilizing WS-X6716 and Nk5 with 2148T extender. If possible if you could provide link(s) on configuration. This will only be a single chassic setup. The 6509 has dual supervisor 720

Are you going to have a port-channel type configuration? Will you do a VPC on the N5K side?

Yes on port-channel, looking at connecting N5k to 6509 WS-X6708-10g switching module with a single 2148T FEX for the servers.  Using a standalone 6509 dual supv. What is the preferred method using this setup

There is no necessarily a preferred way but with standalone 6509 you are limited to a straight forward port-channel

configuration on that end. On the 5K side you can denitely consider using a VPC which would allow you to connect to both N5K (assuming you have two).

Do you need help with the VPC config on the 5K?
