Hello,

we are going to buy a switch Cisco 2960XR or Cisco 2960X.
We need a 802.1X functionality on it.
Please tell what switch has this functionality and which license we need for it?
And for the future requests, where can we find this information, is there any manual or specs for that?

It looks like they both have 802.1x functionality.

Mention under Network Security in the features and benefits section.

Thanks for your answer. One more question. As I can see 802.1X feature is included in LAN BASE feature set. We are going to buy Cisco 2960XR which has IP LITE feature set. My question is: if 802.1X feature included in IP LITE?

It appears that 802.1x is included in IP LITE. From my understanding IP LITE only effects what layer 3 features are available (802.1x is layer 2).

Here is another reference for IP LITE features

How can I exactly know that? As I remember earlier there was a wizard on Cisco site where one could enter a feature and receive models and IOSs with that feature. Where can I find this wizard?

There is something called the "Cisco Feature Navigator", is this what you are referring to? Here it shows that 2960xr with IP LITE does allow 802.1x.
