9606R module - POWER DENY - why

We are getting power deny on the line card modules for a newly ordered 9606R as below. How to resolve this?

Hi @adeebtaqui ,

 

You probably do not have enough power available.

 

"show power detail" will give you all the information you need about the power supply installed, the amount of Watts available and the power budget for each module.

Agree with @Harold Ritter and there may not be enough power. 

Also, have a look at the logs.  When the line cards get inserted, there logs should display the boot-up of the line cards as well as any errors subsequent to the insert.  Those logs will be very vital in the troubleshooting.
