About Cisco 17xx router

Dear all,

I did using a command " sh inventory" to see my 17xx router serial number as below:

PID: C1711 1FE 4ESW Mainboard Port Adopter, VID: 0x101, SN: FOC0942XXXX

Is it this SN:FOC0942XXXX a router serial number?

Pls advise!!!

Hi

You may not get the actual serial number of the box using show inventory with the lower end devices.

Better to get it checked physically from the box.
