Anyone can explain about this command working? I have problem about high CPU on 4500 switch when used RSPAN but when i deploy 'access-list hardware capture mode vlan' command the CPU was decreased. I went through the Cisco document but still not clear. I understand the control packet such as multicast should be punted to CPU so if i changed capture mode to vlan, the control packet was treated like a normal packet and be forwarded through hardware forwarding?
