Hi
I have a number of training environments and each has a pair of VSS swtiches. The training environments are removed at the end of each session and rebuilt. I have had a problem where incorrect VSS ID's have been entered upon rebuild and have caused the new VSS switch to pair with an existing set of switches. The result wasn't pretty.
I need to stop this from happening again. My idea is to use an access list to prevent VSS traffic from leaving the training environment.
Has anyone experienced this issue and engineered a solution? Did you use access lists and if so what traffic type did you deny? Is there another solution I should consider?
Thanks again :D
Stephen.

i would debug vss on lab and understand the control plane traffic and use a access-list to block it
Please mark it as Helpful and/or Solution Accepted if that is the case. Thanks for making Engineering easy again.
