Adding a new switch to a 9300 stack?

I have an existing 6-switch stack of 9300's. I'm trying to add a 7th switch. I followed this doc: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9300/software/release/16-9/configuration_guide/stck_mgr_ha/b_169_stck_mgr_ha_9300_cg/managing_switch_stacks.html#reference_htk_dbg_11b

And proceeded to:

  1. Power off the new switch.

  2. Through their StackWise-480 ports, connect the new switch to a powered-on switch stack.

  3. Power on the new switch.

However after I did that the stack is detecting a version mismatch:

How do I get the new switch to run the same version?

Thanks! Rob.

That guide describes the auto-upgrade feature - that should work. Thanks!
