Hello guys,
I`m currently installing General Alarm System using current network. I have set VLAN and default gateway inside my core switch.
But the problem is my alarm system cant communicate with the software installed in a workstation. I have ping the equipment from the workstation, it was successful. From the guide, my equipment is using port 16887 for communication purposes.
I also has done sh ip pockets commands, but i cant find my port inside the list.
How can i add my alarm equipment TCP port inside the switch?

Hi,
If you are able to ping the system and application is failing, I suggest you to try by disabling any firewall on the PC or in the path PC <-> Alarm system (if any).
