Additional Module for Cisco 4500-X 16 pair with VSS

Can anyone advise on the best way to add a couple of 8-port modules to a cisco 4500x pair running VSS.

I can see that the switches support OIR but it is the VSS aspect that concerns me - Are there any known issues performing the upgrade on a VSS pair and are there any recommendations on which switch to insert the module first (active or standby)?

I know for Catalyst 6500 that it can be, the following link also confirms it

I dont think it should be different for 4500X. Just perform the change in a maintenance window. I would put the module in Standby before putting it in Active

There's plenty of Cisco documentation about adding the modules but nothing mentions vss scenarios.
