Adj resolve request: Failed to resolve x.x.x.x vlan xxx

Hi we are getting the above error, we have issued the no ip cef optimize neighbor resolution command and cleared all the ARP tables yet we are still getting this error for 3 IP's

Any ideas how we can fix this

we are running ios 15.0(2)SE9

you are clearly following the previous thread below

Are those three IP addresses real?

If you use a PC connected to the same Vlan can you ping them and can you see them in arp -g in os shell of the PC?

This is just to be sure you have still an issue on the switch side.

if the three hosts are real as a temporary fix you can add static ARP entries for each of them.

Long term solution can be an IOS upgrade.
