Hello,
after upgrading switch from 7.0(5)N1(1) to 7.1(4)N1(1) and then 7.3(8)N1(1). One interface changed the status to: Hardware failure
Tried to change the SFP modules, still the same, the swtich didn't even send (TX) light out. Is supposed the port is died. But is there any opinions on that ?
Have you had any experience on that ? Thanks

- You can run diagnostics on the module with : (presumably 'all' could be replaced by a specific module number)
show diagnostic result module all
- You could also try to reset the module with :
5k# config t
5k-config# poweroff module x ( x= Particular module)
5k-config# no poweron module x

Seems, it indicates fail (letter F) on 1/19 interface:

I assume i cant poweroff just one interface, it would shutdown all 32 interfaces, yes ? Sad, but I can't just poweroff the whole module with 32 interfaces.

- Yep, the command is module-oriented and it will then imply all ports.
