Hi,
We see that with the use of the IE3200 the alarm relay sometimes is activated after an power up (boot) of the switch. Without any alarm really active. The relay stay's activated, but the led is green and not red. So there is no alarm active, but the relay is activated.
The only way to solve this (know by us so far) is to activate an alarm, like taking down one of the redundant power supply's, and then restore the power.
Has anyone else seen this problem? How can we fix this bug?
For us it is a problem because after an power failure in our plant,or the grid, some switchs stays in error. And can not be reset.
Is there perhaps a command with wich we can make the relay switch on and off?
Thank you for your help and input!

- Use advisory software version : https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286320748/type/282046477/release/Cupertino-17.9.4a
especially if you are currently on an older version , and check if that can help ,

Hello Marce1000
If I check release notes Release Notes for Cisco Catalyst IE3x00 Rugged, IE3400 Heavy Duty, and ESS3300 Series Switches, Cisco IOS XE Cupertino 17.9.x - Cisco I don't see an resolved issue regarding the alarm relais contact. Where did you see that tis firmware solves this problem?
We are currently on version 17.09.4a for 40% of our switches. And there the issue is still present. We had to power down a complete plant of ours and of the 10 IE3200 present (with 17.9.4a) there were (random) 2 that had the issue after power up of an active alarm relais without a real alarm present.

I manged to get one switch in error. When I do show facility-alarm status I get:
SW04#show facility-alarm status
Source Severity Description Relay Time
SW04#
So all empty and no alarm status.
