I`m looking for an alternative to these two switches:
1. WS-C3750V2-24FS-S Cisco Catalyst 3750V2-24FS Switch with 24 100FX SFP + 2 Gigabit Ethernet SFP Ports
2. Cisco Catalyst 3750-24FS (WS-C3750-24FS-S 100BASE-FX)
They are now EOL and not available.
I have a campus style network and need to be able to connect multiple 100FX fibre switches back to a central switch. The 1st unit uses 100FX SFP modules and the second has in-built 100FX ports. I`m struggling to find anything from Cisco that will give me multiple (i.e 12+) 100FX ports.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Paul

Hi Sandeep,
Spot on. Glaringly obvious when you know where to look but I`ve skipped through the documentation loads of times and completely missed it.
Many thanks,
Paul

Sandeep I think you mean the WS-C3750X-24S-S - That's the one with fiber ports in the base unit.
The 48TS model has 48 copper user ports (plus the four SFP-based based ports).

I'll agree with Marvin on this. The only 24-port single-RU-all-SFP-model is the WS-C3750X-24S.
WS-C3750X-12S & WS-C3750X-24S will support GLC-GE-100FX in any of the ports (including the optional module).
Not sure how far away is the all-SFP 3850 is, so this is out of the question.
