I have 4 3560 (C3560-IPBASEK9-M), Version 12.2(37)SE1 and lights most of the lights go from green to Amber I looked at the interfaces they are set to AUTO AUTO neg@ 10half no crc errors
Mode botton is set system STAT.
I have several others switches same set up and I do not get this

Hello,
In the STAT mode display, the amber LED signalizes that the port is basically blocked and does not transmit data. A port can be blocked for various reasons, mostly because the STP protocol decides for whatever reason that the port should be moved to a blocking state. Read this document for more detailed information about the meaning of port colors:
Do you also experience connectivity problems when the ports go amber?
Best regards,
Peter

There doesn't seem to be any connectivity problems.
The port is Alternating green\amber but I do not see any errors
this is from one of the interfaces that the ports is alt between green/amber

I noticed that this port has negotiated to 10/Half. This is the reason why you are having "1185 collisions". If you want to further "drill down" on this, use the command sh controller e
Hope this helps.

That is correc this is connected to a media converter that is only 10/half
here is controller command

Both Receive and Transmit shows moderate amount of collisions alright. The amber lights flashing from time to time is indicative of this. Is this the issue you are having?

yes the only problem is customer has 500 hundred of these switches and these 4 on the only ones doing it only differnce I found
WS-C3560-48TS-S doing it
WS-C3560-48TS-E not doing it

Check out this defect : CSCec53648 61-64 byte dot1q frames trigger LED to blink amber

interesting
these ports are configured with
switchport mode access....
wonder if it from the terminals connected

Still not sure I now seeing this at 2 sites out of 200 all same IOS and hardware.
while using this command sh int stats error
Port Single-Col Multi-Col
Fa0/2 9563 5932
Fa0/3 3907 2809
Fa0/4 0 0
Fa0/5 9886 6393
Fa0/6 0 0
Fa0/7 280 184
I get this and these are the ports the amber/green light happens every other errors are 0
I shouldn't see a amber/green on Single-Col but not sure on Multi-Col
