AP fail to join controller

Hi all,

I am using a controller Cisco 7500 Series Wireless LAN Controller running Software Version 8.0.133.0

Trying to connect a AP cisco AIR-LAP1041N-E-K9 running code C1140-K9W8-M

I get below error, Any help on this is appreciated.

8.0.133.0 release not says this model is supported.

Hello,

the 1140 series actually appears to be suppported by this release (8.0.133.0). Is your AP by any chance associated with the WLC in local mode ? If that is the case, this feature is not supported, and you should convert to FlexConnect or Monitor mode. Check out the link below for other features not supported in release 8.0.133.0:
