are small business SFP compatible with 2960 switches

If i use ESW520 with smal business SFP at floor and in datacenter 2960 with GLC-SX-MM can I connect these two switches

2960 support GLC-SX-MM but not the other.  This means that as long as you insert the GLC-SX-MM module into the 2960 (and not the other way around), you can connect both of them.
