we have a customer who has deployed Enterasys C5 switch which shows error of maximum ARP limit increases 4096.
we are trying to replace Enterasys model with Cisco. Is there any reference document for the maximum limit of ARP supported by 2960X and 2960XR models? Please suggest and confirm if 2960XR can handle approx 6000 ARP entries.
Any reference document with ARP table limit would be helpful to size the model.

Are you planning to use the 2960x as a layer-3 devices? These devices are usually used as layer-2, if that is the case the max number for unicast MAC address is 16k.

It would be deployed as Aggregation Switch between Core and Access in the large campus environment. MAC limit i can see.
Do you have the details of maximum IPv4 ARP limit support on 2960X and 2960XR?

Hi Mark, where does it specify the ARP table limit for 2960X and 2960XR in this?
