ASA Port Channel to Switch Port Channel

I am having trouble connecting interfaces in a port channel from Asa to the port channel in a switch. 

Is it possible to have a port channel on a ASA connect to interfaces on a switch that are not part of a port channel ?

No its not possible. Both sides of a connection should be part of port channel and using same protocol i.e either Lacp or pagp.

If u r create port channel just for redundancy purpose and not want port channel on switch side then you can configure redundant interface instead of portchannel on ASA
