Assigning VLANs on Catalyst Express 520

Hello there,

I've trouble configuring a Catalyst Express 520 8PC Switch. Could it be, that it is not possible to assign different VLAN than "1" to the access ports of this switch? I hope it is possible and I simply haven't found this option yet. If it is, can someone please refernce to some whitepaper or guide (or simply explain how and where it has to be done)?

I've tried it either over the web-fronend and also over CCA/CNA (sadly there isn't any cli support) and didn't found any point in the configuration.

Hi,

According to the data sheet, the 500 series supporsts up to 32 vlans.

Thanks a lot! I didn't recognize the Smartport configuration as the place for assigning VLAN.
