Folks,
We are looking at some help for configuring EIGRP between the Core Switch and the Edge Switch. The Edge switch is a Cisco 3850 switch which support IP Base license only. The Core switches are full IP services based switches.
What should be our approach on the configuration side? The end users(on the Edge switch) need to be able to reach the entire network.
Where do we need to configure the EIGRP stub? What kind of challenges can be seen in the future for this setup?
Any comments/suggestions are welcome.
We have a picture description on how this is going to look like.
Thanks,
N.

Hi
configure stub on the edge switch as its ipbase from memory that's all you can do anyway it doesn't have full eigrp but that will be fine in your setup as there's nothing behind it as you cant with stub setup remember that for future or you need to upgrade to ipservice , you can set it as eigrp stub connected summary or just eigrp stub which will advertise connected and summary too by default , use router ids in the process and use named eigrp 64 bit instead of 32 bit , central process better security and easier to maintain
