i am still confused which one will disable auto-negotiation,setting speed,or setting duplex,or any one of them?

Very simple rule of thumb that has to be followed , if the client nic has a hardcoded speed/duplex then the switch must be hardcoded also . If the user nic is set as auto then the switch must be set as auto also for speed and duplex. If one is auto and the other is hardcoded that is a mismatch and will give all kinds of errors and slow response.
