Auto qos on 2960S

Hello,

I have a stack of WS-C2960S-F24PS-L running c2960s-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE. Since we are going to connect Cisco IP phones, I wanted to enable auto qos. The document "http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2960/software/release/12-2_53_se/configuration/guide/2960scg/swqos.html#wp1156959" states that ingress queuing is not supported on 2960S. I am only interested in trusting the cos markings of the packets on interfaces to which IP phones are connected (auto qos voip cisco-phone) and on the uplinks of the switches (auto qos trust).

Since ingress queuing is not supported, will I have any issues with the markings? Will the cos value be trusted?

Th only issue you have with "no ingress queueing" is that all the ingress packets are serviced in FIFO, while on 2960 it was services in different queues (per CoS of DSCP).
