Automated backup of Nexus 5548 after configuration change

Hi community,

i´m aware that the archive trick doesn´t work on the Nexus.

What i could easily achieve on the Nexus 3064 was a daily backup with the "feature scheduler".

As it seems i cannot activate such a feature on the N5k.

Which other option do i have? Actually i do not want to use another device or scripts on another device for PULLING it from the Nexus.

As well we have no DCNM running at that customer, which should do that job also...therefore, no DCNM option.

Its OK for me to do a daily backup like on the N3k.

Or even better like with the archive option after a "copy run start", like on the Catalyst switches.

Can i use EEM for this? I tried, but i couldn´t see it working right now.

Kron is out of discussion, since it seems i cannot have the feature scheduler on the N5k, whyever.

Or is this maybe somehow still possible?

Any input on this? Greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance,

Andreas
