Hi Community

Does anyone have a clue how to get SFTP working on configuring Archive feature please? It works perfectly with TFTP but am struggling to get it to work with SFTP. We are using a NAS server that supports SFTP, the server seems to be ok.

Configuration Archive

Switch1#path ?
flash1: Write archive on flash1: file system
flash: Write archive on flash: file system
ftp: Write archive on ftp: file system
http: Write archive on http: file system
https: Write archive on https: file system
rcp: Write archive on rcp: file system
scp: Write archive on scp: file system
sftp: Write archive on sftp: file system
tftp: Write archive on tftp: file system

Archive config

log config
logging enable
hidekeys
path sftp://admin:xxxxxxxxxx@10.1.x.x//Backup/Cisco-Switch-Backup/switch1-2/$h-
write-memory
time-period 10080

Thanks

I suggest a test without the "$h-"  at the end (specify a fixed name)
maybe this variable is not evaluated when executing the command-line, but sent unchanged to the remote host

Have tried all those, but still get SFTP ifs_open: Invalid Path Contains wildcard characters

path sftp://adxxxx:xxxxxxxxxsssssssss*n5E@10.x.x.x1//Backups/Cisco-Switch-Backup/config.txt

thanks for the response
