we have 5 Nos of 2950 s/w and One router. On one 2950 s/w port connected to a computer is using more bandwidth, because of this the router and switch ports are going off and on. How to find which port on which switch is using more bandwidth and set speed for that port.

HI, [Pls Rate if HELPS]
Use Cisco SPAN Methodology - PORT Mirroring Feature.
Mirror the traffic of the Trunk PORT because any traffic should have a destination end point. So by this way, you can capture the Orginating PORT and the type of Traffic itself.
Refer the Attachment for Cisco SPAN Configuration.
Hope i am Informative.

You can get individual port utilization and switch fabric utilization stats with the "show controllers utilization command.

Hi,
I believe you can use "sh interface counters" and compare across the interfaces.
SPAN may not help in this case, cos you've to locate one particular interface, which might not be feasible with SPAN.
