Hi, I´m installing a Wifi solution using Cisco 2504 Controller, 1602 AP´s connected to switches using a SG200-08. Am not sure the config for the port on the switch (Cisco 2960). Both ports (the one that connect to the wifi controller and the one that connects to the SG200) are configured as trunk ports as they carry a couple of vlan´s. Is it correct??
Under my knowledge it is OK, but it does not work.
I have configured a port as access for using the web based application and admin the controller and works fine.
The scenario is as follows:
Please I need some help for make it running.
Cheers and thank you before hand.

That is correct.
Can you post the configs from both switches for the specific ports?

WLC to Switch = Dot1Q trunk with Native VLAN
AP to Switch = Access port

The configuration of the SG200 is as follows:
Ports 1 to 5 as access for AP
Ports 6-7 as access for management
Port 7 as trunk for carrying all vlans
Cannot access the 2960 but the config made is as follows (from my mind):
gi 2/0/34 (connected to SG200)
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allow vlans all
switchport trunk native vlan 1
gi 2/0/36 (connected to wireless Controller)
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allow vlans all
switchport trunk native vlan 1
When I connect all (switch 2960, controller, SG200 and AP) the AP has a static IP and can ping the controller IP. ALso the controller sees the AP as not joined.
