Basic QoS on 4510 Running IOS 12.1(19)E

I have to build LAN QoS in a network that has a 4510 as the collapsed core switch and a dozen 3750s.

I'm familiar enough with QoS to know to run auto-qos trust cisco-phone on all the access ports on the 3750s.  I believe I then have to configure mls qos trust dscp on the 3750 trunk ports to the 4510 and likewise on the trunk ports of the 4510.

My question has to do with enabling LAN QoS on the 4510.  I know that IP CEF must be enabled - which it is my default.  I'm looking for guidance on configuring LAN QoS  for my  CUCM Pub and Sub access ports?  Should I just run auto qos trust and allow the magically configured MQC statement to classify and mark the CUCM traffic ?

Does anyone have any further insight on gotchas associated with auto-qos on the 4510 running SUP 6 ?

Amir,

I don't think you will be able to run 12.1(19)E on a SUP6 as the subject indicates.

QoS on SUP6 is quite different than previous supervisors as it employs MQC.

When executing the Auto-QoS macro, class-maps and policy-maps are created for you and the policy-maps are applied to the switchports.
