Hey Guys
Im starting to study for Cisco and I have a doubt about a simple configuration.
I have 2 PCs connected to a switch ok, with both PCs configured with the following configuration as follow :
PC1 as 192.168.1.2 and PC2 as 192.168.1.3
When I run a ping command via pc1 to pc2 , the connection doesnt work.
In this case, do I have to configure the switch also, or there is no need for that ???
Where is the fault ??

Hi,
Try disabling firewall on PC2. if it still won't work post the config of the switch to see if the 2 ports are in the same vlan.
