Dears,

i need to generate Broadcast packets to simulate the broadcast storm also  i have windows 

i have switches 4507 and C3560X switches 

and how i can identify the level or packets on storm control configuration

i saw lot of examples but i cannot identify what is the rate need on my switches Packets or %

what is the normal packet rates for broadcasting , multicast and unicasting for normal behavior.

If you question about what values to configure for the network, then

Unicast may reach up to 100% of bandwidth and that is expected (sometimes).

Broadcast are typically set to 3-5% on 100M and 0.1-0.5% on 10G.

Multicast could inherit broadcast settings, but it really depends on the traffic pattern.
