hello
With great enthusiasm, the existing SG550XG-24F stack with two switches was planned to be replaced.
The successor is intended to be the C1300-24XS. Compared to the old model, only 8 LAGs are available instead of 32 LAGs.
With 48 SFP+ ports, this is simply insufficient.
What is the reason for this limitation?
Thx Michel

Hi,
That is just the hardware's limitation. The switch has 24 ports total, so a 32-port lag will exceed the number of physical ports.

hi
In a stack with 2 devices you already have 48 ports.
You can't get by with 8 LAG. (When fully expanded, the stack could have 8 devices.)
The old six-year-old Switch (SG550XG-24F) handled 32.
I don't understand the idea
thx

Possibly it's a marketing decision.

I agree with @Joseph W. Doherty and the decision is most likely to be marketing-related.
