hey guys,

Please help! I bought 3 refurbed c3750-12S to add to an existing switch in a stack.

had version mismatch message so was able to tftp bin file from the master to 2 of the switches no problem.

The 3rd didnt took the image and now is in a boot loop.

I noticed it was a c3750-12S-E with original ios being :

c3750-i5-mz.121-19.EA1c.bin

i loaded:

c3750-ipservices-mz.122-35.SE5.bin

the switch is boot looping now..

This is the output I get :

ethernet MAC Address: 00:0f:8f:f1:f4:80

Xmodem file system is available.

The password-recovery mechanism is enabled.

This keeps looping.. I notice the message above no such file or directory for the previous version. Is this the problem? It does try and boot the 122-35 though?

i need to have this switch up and running asap as ports are required what can i do?

im also leaving the city and returning back to the uk so need help asap..

thanks in advance..

I think the image is incorrect ?

Im running

c3750-ipbase-mz.122-35.SE5.bin

on the other 2 (1 is actually ipservices and not base)

if i use the following image do you think it will work?

c3750-i5-mz.122-25.SE.bin

Hi Amar,

You can do one thing there. Power off the switch and power it on again by holding the mode button on the switch. Hold the mode button for approximately 15 - 20 secs from the power on until you get the "switch:" prompt.

Once you are in "Switch: " prompt, enter the following commands "flash_init" and "load_helper".

After this do a "dir flash:" to see if you have any image on the flash device. If there is an image then boot that image using the "boot flash:imagename".

Hope this helps.
