C3750e PBR in ipbase license

Hi all,

I have a C3750e switch which is running ipbase license. Recently, I have to apply PBR on this switch and the IOS version allowed me to apply the configuration properly. However, I found the PBR is very strange. I have traceroute the traffic from one of the server, I found PBR works one time but not work on the next traceroute. 

I have searched that Cisco advised to run PBR in ipservice license but not in ipbase. However, why I can apply the commands with no problem ? Also, is the traceroute issue related with the PBR in ipbase ?

I am really confusing. Is anybody suffer on this before ?

Hi,

PBR is part of "IP Services" license package. So, to get all you need, you would have to enable the IP services license. Even if the commands work without it, the TAC will not support the switch without the proper license.
