Hello,
I was wondering if the uplink module C3850-NM-4-10G is able to work in non-blocking mode.
We're planning to configure two port-channels (20 Gbps each) and switch packets between them.
Could anyone confirm the ports on the module would work in non-blocking manner?
I could'n find any relevant information in documentation. The only mention I've found was this:
● Simplified: Single unified system to manage and operate up to 208 ports (will increase to 432 ports in a future release). StackWise-480 also simplifies network design and topologies in converged access.
● Scalable: No performance compromise. Each Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch deployed in StackWise-480 mode boosts wiring-closet performance with nonblocking 480-Gbps backplane and 40 Gbps on uplink ports.
Regards,
Maxim

As far as I'm aware, yes. The module is 40 Gbps full line rate.
