Hi everyone,
i am facing an issue while trying to upgrade IOS XE from 3.7.1E ( which is an old version ) to 3.7.5E on a running C3850 stack in INSTALL MODE.
Actually, our stacked C3850 have been running fine for almost a year and a half but we recenlty faced very strange issues stack after stack
We got switches removed from stacks for no reason and moreover we always had the " No response " issue with PSUs ( cosmectic error if i believe Cisco )
So i freshly tried to upgrade a stack but i just can't ! i'am getting an error right after expanding the image :
% Signature verification failed on cat3k_caa-wcm.SPA.10.3.141.pkg. Operation aborted
% An internal error was encountered. Operation aborted.
% An internal error was encountered. Operation aborted.
% An internal error was encountered. Operation aborted.
% An internal error was encountered. Operation aborted.
I tried to reload the stack but i got the same result and also tried to upgrade to a lower version 3.7.4E but still the same.
I tftp copied the .bin to the flash but next days i'll try to upgrade from a usb stick and also on a different stack and i'll let you know what.
I also pass the verify command and it passed successfuly.
To finish i tried to upgrade from 3.7.1E to 3.7.5E on a spare stacked C3850 and i had no problem...i can't figure out what's going on.
Anyone facing the same problem please?
Best regards.

Sambo,
Looks like there is a known bug for this issue.

Hi Brandon,
thanks for your reply.
Indeed i checked this CSC but nothing special that could have helped me :
Problem : whatever version i tried to pass, it failed with the same error message.
By the way i managed to upgrade yesterday night from 3.7.1E to 3.7.5E thanks to a blog i found on google. The tips consists in passing the upgrade with a usb stick and actually it did work ! If it could help someone i would recommand to copy the image on a usb stick and try it ! In TFTP it is failing everytime i tried to upgrade.
However i also managed to pass the upgrade on 2 different stacks without issues by TFTP. Actually, i had the problem on a stack where a switch got removed from stack for no reason and i started to have this issue 2 weeks ago on 3 different stacks. Seems like after a certain uptime, the bug appears.
Anyway i will upgrade all the stacks with 3.7.5E, 3.7.1E seems to have a lot a bugs !
Thanks you for your help anyway, hope this post will help.
