all,
i've encountered a downtime on one of the ethernet module on my 4500s. after doing a reset using the command hw-module module <number> reset, half of the ports (12/48) were restored. i've opened a TAC case to check on other things. but when i got back to the office today and checked module 5, all ports are now active. can someone explain what could trigger this ethernet modules to go down in the first place? and how long does it take to recover power on all the 48 ports on this module? i've attached the syslog messages and output for show power inline module.
