C6509 e Sup 720

We are discarding cat6509 e sup 720 10ge. want to make sure no config or info is left behind. let me know what should i do.

In addition to what Reza suggested, you can also format the NVRAM and flash after write erase.

Also remember that there are two processors for Sup720, so make sure to erase both the SP and RP memory areas.

Sup720 stores the VLAN database in the "const_nvram:" so make sure to clean those up. 

Remove the supervisor card from the slot.  Remove the CF cards and the memory modules.  Done.

Just do a "write erase", to delete the config before discarding it.

Remove alll the active connection to device before you decomm, Turn off make sure all working network.

Connect the console cable, turn on the device, issue write erage and reload.
