Hello,
We are buying some C6509Es with Sup2Ts and 8 port 10G cards. Would like to get a close estimate of the power consumption for our configured chassis. Does anyone have a C6509E with at least the following components that can share their show power output.

Hi,
To get the most accurate numbers for your device use the Cisco Power calculator. It will give the power consumption per blade and also per sup with different types of power supplies.

That did the trick. Though I wonder if the show power command uses the same algorithym as the above link. I used one of our running C6506's to compare the accuracy between the web page and an actual switch. The two matched exactly. Shouldn't there be some variance between actual an calculated?
